DANIEL FAST
Dear Readers
I would like to introduce you to the Daniel Fast. This fast will take you on a spiritual journey that will empower and change your mental, physical and spiritual well being.
As you already know, the Daniel Fast and Diet is based upon the prophet Daniels dietary and spiritual experiences as recorded in the Book of Daniel. It is a partial fast that focuses heavily on vegetables and other healthy foods but leaves out any animal source of protein.
Research in your Bible these 2 famous scripture readings:
Daniel 1:12; which states, "Please test your servants for ten days and let them give us vegetables (pulses) to eat and water to drink.
Daniel 10:2-3 which says, ' In those days Daniel was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth nor did I anoint myself at all till three weeks were fulfilled.
Amazingly at the end of 10 days, Daniel and his friends had a brighter countenance, they were stronger and wiser than the rest of the men in the palace.
Daniel's success in a matter of 10 days was simply attributed to his firm belief that consuming a plant-based diet and trusting God you can enjoy a fulfilling and prosperous life.
Also, during the time of fasting Daniel spent considerable time with God praying at least three times daily

Below is a list of foods/drinks that you can consume:
1Beverages:
Water only- it must be purified, distilled- spring or distilled water is the best
2.Homemade almond milk, coconut water, fruit, and vegetable juice
3 Fruits
4.Whole grains: Brown, rice, oats, quinoa, millet, amaranth, buckwheat, barley cooked in water, wild rice
5. Beans and Legumes
6. Nuts and Seeds
